Ford Gerald 1913 - 2006 Rare Signed Ford 1974 White House Christmas Card issued just four months after Nixon's resignation Christmas Card Signed "Gerald R. Ford," measures 7.25" x 5.5" when closed. Presidential Seal blind embossed at top center of message page: "With best wishes from our family / for a Merry Christmas / and a Happy New Year / The President and Mrs. Ford" printed in green. Thin sheet of 7" x 4.25" paper to protect message. Includes the unused envelope, "The White House" printed in green at upper left. , 7.5" x 3.5". Fine condition.

The cover image, from the original engraving, in color, is captioned "The President's House, Washington. / London, Published, Feb. 15, 1831, by L.T. Hinton & Simpkin & Marshall" and "Drawn by H. Brown, Engraved & Printed by / Fenner Sears & Co." Captioned on verso: "The pastoral atmosphere of the nation's capital in the / early 19th century is shown in Š—…The President's House, / Washington.' This engraving published in 1831 depicting / a French style garden was made by Fenner Sears and / Company, London, after a drawing by the English artist, / H. Brown. / Christmas / 1974 / [crown] / Hallmark".
