Mixed British History Archive (14), Dating from 1675 to 1820s

A large and eclectic group of British historical documents, printings, stocks, and artwork relating mainly to London and the monarchy. Dating from 1675 to the 1820s. Fourteen items in total, of varying sizes. With numerous engravings, colored and uncolored, of famous British heroes and sites in London. There is a small publication about Thomas Coutts Esq., along with two printings related to George II and George III. There is also one Bank of England Bond as well as an early issue of the London Gazette. The group has varying degrees of wear, toning, soiling, and foxing. Some areas of creasing and chipped edges. Please refer to the photographs for further condition information.

Five London Engravings by W. Tombleson and R. Ackermann. London, dated December 8, 1827 and March 1, 1828. Views of the Royal Hospital of St. Katerine at Regents Park, the London Burlington Arcade, and Clandon Park, Seat of the Right Honorable Ear of Onslow.
"Life of the Late Thomas Coutts, Esq." London: John Fairburn, 1822.
"The London Gazette", No. 1048, dated December 2-6, 1675.
"Anno Regni - George III" London: Charles Eyre and William Strahan, 1776.
Five Engravings: The Earl of Sandwich Refusing to Leave His Ship; early monarchs; New College Entrance; Cluniac Priory at Thetford; and the Deer of the Cape of Good Hope.

Unless otherwise indicated, we do our own in-house worldwide shipping!

Applicable shipping and handling charges will be added to the invoice. We offer several shipping options, and remain one of the few auction houses who proudly provides professional in-house shipping as an option to our clients. All items will ship with signature required, and full insurance. Most items are sent via Federal Express, with P. O. Box addresses being sent through USPS. We insure through Berkley Asset Protection with rates of $.70 per $100 of value, among the lowest insurance rates in the industry. Our shipping department cameras document every package, both outgoing and incoming, for maximum security. In addition, we compare our shipping and handling rates against those of other auction houses, to ensure that our charges are among the lowest in the trade.

Upon winning your item(s), you will receive an invoice with our in-house shipping and handling fees included. ***We will ship to the address as it appears on your invoice. If any changes to the shipping address need to be made, you must inform us immediately.***

International shipments: In order to comply with our insurance provider, all international shipments will be sent via Fed Ex and customs paperwork will show a value of $1.00. International buyers should contact our office directly with any questions regarding this policy.
