Description:

Massive Dealer's Lot, Approx. 70 Pcs, 50+ Signers, Military, Political, Royalty, Etc.

A massive dealer's lot of autographed and rare material including autograph letters signed, typed letters signed, free franks, First Day Covers, signature clips, postcards, and photos, with a small group of pamphlets and excised book pages, ca. 1550-1971. The archive totals approximately 70 pieces and represents 59 signers of whom most have been identified. Military commanders; political figures including British Prime Ministers; and various European royalty are strongly represented in this collection, with signers mostly hailing from the British Empire (including Ireland, Rhodesia, and New Zealand) and France. Expected wear and paper flaws related to age, else near fine. Please refer to catalog photos for additional information related to condition. Many of the autographs come with original documentation identifying the signer, as well as purchase information. Currently housed in transparent sleeves in two binders measuring 10.5" x 11.875" x 3.375" overall.

The collection contains sizable subsections of Military, Political, and Royalty autographs. There are also smaller groups related to Science, Medicine, Art, and Religion.
