Honus Wagner & 1934 Pirates Multi-Signed Baseball w/ Photo! PSA/DNA
Signed baseball
A ball signed by Honus Wagner and other members of the 1934 Pirates! Exhibits soiling and wear and thus probably game-used. Signatures vary but generally fair condition and this ball exhibits all signs of having been cherished and enthusiastically used by a young collector! With PSA/DNA authentication and accompanied by a handsome vintage real-photo postcard. Please view our comprehensive images for condition and detailed. With PSA/DNA authentication.

In addition to Wagner, signers include: Pat Veltman (who signs "Art Veltman"), Harry "Cookie" Lavagetto, Gus Suhr, Elmer Trapp, Bill Harris and one more not identified by us.

This ball is accompanied by a fine vintage photograph, 3.5" x 5.5" sepia, dated "1934" and showing Wagner seated with minor leaguer Elmer Trapp and Tommy Thevenow (Cardinals).

Honus Wagner (1874-1955), sometimes referred to as Hans Wagner, was an American baseball shortstop who played 21 seasons in Major League Baseball from 1897 to 1917, almost entirely for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1936, the Baseball Hall of Fame inducted Wagner as one of the first five members. He received the second-highest vote total, behind Ty Cobb's 222, and tied with Babe Ruth at 215. Most baseball historians consider Wagner to be the greatest shortstop ever and one of the greatest players ever. Ty Cobb himself called Wagner "maybe the greatest star ever to take the diamond."
