Richard Nixon signs a letter of appreciation to one of his California campaign helpers. "... I have to express my personal appreciation for all that you did to make possible our overwhelming victory... As we campaigned in other states we were often asked, "How will California go" While I was confident that my own state would come through again as it did in our campaign in 1950, the majority of almost 700,000 votes exceeded even our most optimistic expectations, and I know that the major credit for this result belongs to those who worked and contributed so unselfishly to the campaign." Neatly signed by Richard Nixon as "Dick Nixon"

A fine condition, wonderful early example, signed in full by Nixon using his informal first name, Dick, to a campaign helper.
