Seward"; 7th U.S. Secretary of Interior John Palmer Usher (1816-1889) as "J.P. Usher"; 25th U.S. Secretary of Treasury Salmon P. Chase (1808-1873) as "S.P. Dennison".

Also including the signature clips of Lincoln's beloved private secretary John Hay (1838-1905) as "John Hay"; Treasury Chief Clerk and Grand Marshall of Lincoln's funeral George Harrington (died 1892) as "GeoHarrington"; and one of Johnson's private secretaries, Reuben D. Mussey (1833-1892) as "R.D. Mussey".

16 U.S. President Abraham Lincoln assembled a dynamic cabinet during his presidency. It was comprised of fiercely opinionated and often fundamentally different politicians. As a result, relations between cabinet members were often tense and even acrimonious. In addition, the fact that Lincoln often made his own policy decisions in opposition to or in ignorance of his advisors rendered the cabinet somewhat superfluous.
