A full-color, 8.5" x 11" photograph signed by 15 Medal of Honor recipients stationed in Italy during World War II. Highlighted signatures include Veron J. Baker, Van T. Barfoot, Daniel K. Inouye, and many more. A near fine example with minor instances of soiling on the verso. Bold signatures throughout, with many also adding their rank and division.

Signatures include, in order of last name:

- Vernon J. Baker (1919-2010), one of six other African Americans to be awarded the MOH on January 12, 1997

- Van T. Barfoot (1919-2012), MOH recipient who was three times awarded a Purple Heart

- Maurice Britt (1919-1995), awarded MOH for actions against German forces on November 10, 1943

- Ernest Childers (1918-2005), awarded MOH after being wounded in action on September 22, 1943

- William J. Crawford (1918-2000), originally presumed dead but was later rescued in late 1944, MOH was presented "posthumously" to his father

- Rudolph B. Davila (1916-2002), the only person of Filipino descent to receive a MOH

- Paul B. Huff (1918-1994), awarded MOH for actions during a patrol on February 8, 1944

- Daniel K. Inouye (1924-2012), awarded MOH after losing his right arm to a grenade wound, later served as a Senator from Hawaii

- Oscar Johnson Jr. (1921-1998), single-handedly held position at his unit's left flank after all other members were killed or wounded

- William J. Johnston Sr. (1918-1990), manned his gun for an entire day without rest, later providing information on German positions

- Alton W. Knappenberger (1923-2008), received MOH for actions during the Battle of Cisterna

- Jack C. Montgomery (1917-2002), received MOH for actions during the Battle of Anzio

- Beryl R. Newman (1911-1998), awarded MOH for actions taken attacking the German Anzio-Nettun defense line

- Henry Schauer (1918-1997), single-handedly killed five German snipers and disabled two machine guns, awarded MOH October 27, 1944

- Charles W. Shae (1921-1994), single-handedly disable three German machine gun nests, awarded MOH January 12, 1945

Unless otherwise indicated, we do our own in-house world-wide shipping!

Applicable shipping and handling charges will be added to the invoice. We offer several shipping options, and remain one of the few auction houses that proudly provides professional in-house shipping as an option to our clients. All items will ship with a signature required option, and full insurance. Most items are sent via Federal Express, with P. O. Box addresses being sent through USPS. We insure through Berkley Asset Protection with rates of $.70 per $100 of value, among the lowest insurance rates in the industry. Our shipping department cameras document every package, both outgoing and incoming, for maximum security. In addition, we compare our shipping and handling rates against those of other auction houses, to ensure that our charges are among the lowest in the trade.

Upon winning your item(s), you will receive an invoice with our in-house shipping and handling fees included. ***We will ship to the address as it appears on your invoice. If any changes to the shipping address need to be made, you must inform us immediately.***

International shipments: In order to comply with our insurance provider, all international shipments will be sent via Fed Ex and customs paperwork will show a value of $1.00. International buyers should contact our office directly with any questions regarding this policy.

Third-Party Shipping Option: If a third-party shipper is preferred, the buyer is responsible for contacting them directly to make shipping arrangements. For your convenience, we have provided some recommended shippers. For your protection, we will require a signed release from you, confirming your authorization for us to release your lots to your specified third-party. At that point, our responsibility and insurance coverage for your item(s) ceases. Items picked up by third-party shippers are required to pay Connecticut sales tax. Items requiring third-party shipping due to being oversized, fragile or bulky will be denoted in the item description.
