Tom Seaver Limited Litho & Carl Yastrzemski Signed Life Magazine from Triple Crown Year! JSA
Archive

Exceptional two-piece offering celebrating the greatness of two Hall of Fame legends who have a fascinating link! Tom Seaver and Carl Yastrzemski. The first item is a limited edition lithograph of Tom Seaver, signed boldly in blue marker by the New York Mets ace and numbered out of just 311 copies, a tribute to his 311 career wins. Illustrated by noted sports artist Flip Amato, the lithograph captures Seaver in dynamic form, surrounded by Mets imagery and action poses. The signature stands out clearly against the artwork's bright background and remains in excellent condition, perfect for display. Measures 10" x 14.25".

The second item is an original April 14, 1967 issue of LIFE Magazine, featuring Carl Yastrzemski on the cover, signed by the Red Sox legend in bold blue ink across his uniform. This issue was released during the early weeks of Yastrzemski's iconic Triple Crown season, making the timing and subject matter of this signed magazine particularly significant. The magazine retains good visual appeal, with only typical signs of handling consistent with its age. The magazine measures 10.5" x 13.75".

Both items are accompanied by JSA basic certificates and sport the JSA hologram.

A fascinating link between the two legends occurred in the 1975 MLB All-Star Game, when Yastrzemski delivered one of the game's most dramatic moments: a first-pitch, three-run pinch-hit home run off Tom Seaver to tie the game. This rare confrontation between the American League's premier slugger and the National League's ace pitcher became an unforgettable highlight in All-Star history and serves as a testament to the greatness of both men.

This item comes with a Certificate from John Reznikoff, a premier authenticator for both major 3rd party authentication services, PSA and JSA (James Spence Authentications), as well as numerous auction houses.
