Apollo Astronauts 1967 - 1972 Superb Historic Display! Flown fragments of all 11 manned Apollo Missions!


Twelve flown fragments of all eleven manned Apollo command or lunar modules and the unmanned Apollo 4 module, encased in a 2.75" x 3.5" x 1" Lucite rectangular prism with beveled edges. Limited Edition numbered 2 of 10. Fine condition.

The numerical mission is identified beneath each fragment. The patch of each mission is reproduced in color on one rectangular side which also bears the photograph, taken by Neil Armstrong, of Buzz Aldrin on the Moon. Numbered in the Lucite "2/10."

Certificate of Authenticity,11" x 8.5", signed by J.G. Czuninski, president of Aviators Alley & Threehook Aviation. In part, "I certify that these twelve fragments of Apollo Command and Lunar Module material encapsulated within the accompanying Aviators Alley 'Apollo Mission Flown Collection' acrylic display are authentic relics from each of the Apollo Missions including Apollo 4, 7 and Apollo 17. These flown relics have been sourced from larger relics that I have personally subdivided for encapsulation within each of these acrylic displays and were produced by Aviators Alley as part of the limited edition. ... This is No. 2 of 10 / #132101 of a limited edition display from the 'Apollo Command Module Collection."

Apollo 4 was the Saturn V launch vehicle's first test flight. Launched on November 9, 1967, without a crew, the almost nine hour mission splashed down in the Pacific Ocean. NASA deemed the mission a complete success.

Accompanied by twelve 8.5" x 11" individual fact sheets and certificates of authenticity for each fragment in the rectangular prism in a specially created loose-leaf binder with "2/10" and "132102" in ink on a gold embossed Aviators Alley seal on the cover.
