Superb "Band of Brothers" Photo Signed by 27 Members of "Easy Company," PSA Certified
Signed Photograph

A 10" x 8" glossy black and white photograph signed by 27 soldiers of "Easy Company" from the 101st Airborne Division, famously profiled in "Band of Brothers," here celebrating in May 1945 after they captured the Eagle's Nest, Adolf Hitler's fortress. Boldly signed, some with inscription. Matted to an overall size of 13" x 10". In very near fine condition and accompanied by a PSA Letter of Authenticity.

Notable signatures include many of the leaders of the company, including Commander Dick Winters, who adds his famous motto, "Hang Tough." Harry Welsh, Lewis Nixon III, Ron "Sparky" Speirs, Buck Compton, and Jack Foley also sign on the photo. The other 21 men sign the mat and include Joseph Lesniewski, Ed Shames, Rod Strohl, Herb Suerth, Ed Joint, Robert Rader, John Martin, Frank Perconte, George Luz, Robert Strayer, Pat O'Keefe, Carwood Lipton, Michael Massaconi, Lester Hashey, Elijah Whytsell, Salve Matheson, Frederick Heyliger, Eugene "Doc" Roe, Edward "Babe" Heffron, Dewitt Lowery, and Earl McClung. All of these men, and indeed all the men who made up the Band of Brothers regiment, have since passed.

E Company, 2nd Battalion of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division, was referred to as "Easy" after the radio call for "E" in the phonetic alphabet used during World War II. The experiences of its members during that war are the subject of the 1992 book "Band of Brothers" by historian Stephen Ambrose and the 2001 HBO miniseries of the same name.

This item comes with a Certificate from John Reznikoff, a premier authenticator for both major 3rd party authentication services, PSA and JSA (James Spence Authentications), as well as numerous auction houses.
