Reagan Ronald

Ronald Reagan's Owned Personal Vermeil Gold Mont Blanc Pen along with Nancy Reagan's Gold Cross Pen

Mont Blanc Solitaire Pinstripe Vermeil Gold Roller ball pen. Engraved "Ronald Reagan" . 5.25" (13cm) long. Made in Germany with a guilloche pinstriped surface. 925 Silver. In near fine condition with only very fine handling use/surface scratches evident under magnification.

1. A spectacular vermeil gold pinstriped Mont Blanc pen, engraved along the upper barrel with President Ronald Reagan's familiar signature. Was almost certainly used during his presidency. The unique, elegant pattern of this Mont Blanc design was in production for only a limited period. The pen offers a very handsome presentation, and one of incredible historical significance.

2. Gold ball point pen by Cross, circa 1985, engraved with initials "NDR", from the personal collection of President Ronald and Nancy Reagan, owned and used by them in the Presidential years at the Family Residence in the White House and then at their Bel Air, California home. Originally sold at Christie’s in New York. Pen size of 5.25", with black top, and twists to expose the writing tip.

With impeccable provenance, from the private collection of President Ronald and Nancy Reagan sold at Christies, its true nature obscured in a larger group of writing implements. We have handled many Presidential pens, some with great historical significance. This pen may have used to sign letters and documents of the utmost importance. What is certain is that this is among the most lavish of any Presidential pen from any period.
