Frost Robert 1874 - 1963 Robert Frost signs his poem, "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening"

Boldly signed "Robert Frost" in March 1957, in a copy of "The Book Of Knowledge, The Children's Encyclopedia", published by The Grolier Society, New York, Vol. III, 1946. 6.5" x 9.5". Red pebbled cloth boards with gilt titles to the front and faded gilt titles to spine. The cloth is rubbed along the spine and edges of the book. Original decorative end papers in perfect condition with the internal pages clean, bright and flat with numerous black and white illustrations. Internally appearing as unread. No jacket as issued.

A lovely example of his signature,"Robert Frost", under his poem, "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" on page 1269. Includes wonderful detailed and impeccable provenance from during his stay in Shrewsbury Center, Vermont, where he was filming David Garroway's "Wide Wide World," which featured Robert Frost on March 31, 1957.Wide Wide World was a 90 minute documentary series, telecast live on NBC on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 p.m. EST. The episode included Frost taping maple trees, gathering sap, and riding on a horse drawn sleigh.
