Typed Letter Signed "Bob Kennedy" as U.S. Senator, 1 page, 8" x 10.5". [Washington. D.C.], May 25, 1965. To John G.W. Mahanna, National Press Club, Washington, D.C. On his U.S. Senate letterhead listing the 16 members of the Committee on Labor and Public Welfare including RFK and his brother Edward M. Kennedy. Three loose leaf indentations/tears at left margin. Fine condition. With original postmarked envelope bearing Robert F. Kennedy's printed free frank.
In full, "Many thanks for your letter of May 12th and for the enclosed editorial from the Berkshire Eagle. I very much appreciated your thoughtfulness in sending it to me." The "Berkshire Eagle" was published in Pittsfield, Massachusetts; Mahanna was the newspaper's county editor.
