Reagan Ronald 1911 - 2004 Rare unique Ronald Reagan signed photograph
Photograph Signed "Ronald Reagan" in silver ink. Color, 11" x 8". Inscribed in calligraphy "To Ronald E. Wade / With Best Wishes." Picturing Wade and the former President outdoors. Wade has penned his name and address and "received March 15, 1996" on verso.
A rare personal photograph signed by the former President over a year after he announced that he had "been told that I am one of the millions of Americans who will be afflicted with Alzheimer's Disease..." This photograph was taken at the dedication of the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, California, in 1991. Ron Wade was a close friend of Reagan's Vice President, George H.W. Bush. Wade was a Bush floor leader at the 1988 Republican National Convention and regional director for Bush's races in 1980, 1988 and 1992. Ron Wade was appointed by President George H. W. Bush to his 1988 Presidential Inaugural Committee.
