In full:

"Pat and I were deeply saddened when we learned of Rosalind's passing. We have always had a very special place in our hearts for her- and for you as well.
Her incomparable talent, spirit, & greatness as an actress will be praised by all who were privileged to see her on stage, screen or T.V. But we feel especially fortunate that we knew her as a friend and saw personally what a superb human being she was. Pat joins me in sending our deepest sympathy and best wishes."

Rosalind Russell (1907-1976) was an American actress, model, and comedian known for her memorable roles on both the stage and screen. Through a career that spanned for forty years, she had won all five Golden Globes for which she was nominated, as well as the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical in 1953. On October 25, 1941, Russell married Danish-American producer Frederick Brisson (1912–1984) following the couple's introduction by Cary Grant during the filming of "His Girl Friday" the year previous.
