Letter reads in full:

"Dear Brooke
It was lovely to see you in Washington recently - a
real treat for me after too long an interval! It was very
kind of you to send me something for my Institute, but I am
sorry about the large tax increase you are expecting as a
result of Mr. Clinton's arrival on the scene! I expect the
same will happen here soon ...

It would be wonderful to come and stay with you outside
New York on a future visit and I will certainly bear the
idea in mind. Obviously I will have to look for a good
excuse to come to New York area sooner rather than later!

Yours affectionately
Charles"
