A group of author-signed books related to U.S. Presidents John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard M. Nixon, Gerald Ford, and Jimmy Carter, with the C.I.A. and presidential assassination being associated subjects. The group includes five luxurious Collector's Signed Editions from the Easton Press and The Franklin Library--some limited editions--bound in fine leather of various colors, with elaborately gilded embossed covers and gilt text blocks. There are 10 author signatures in total. The overall condition of the items is near fine. Please refer to the catalog photographs for more information about the condition. With the original dust jacket listing the retail price of FPT $19.95. Slightly sun-faded covers and spine, else near fine. Comes with a 2006 receipt and bookmark from Green Apple Books & Music (San Francisco, California). A signed copy of this item can be purchased on Abebooks.com for between $125-150.

2. Norman Mailer, limited first edition "Harlot's Ghost" (New York: Random House, 1991), 1310pp. Signed by Norman Mailer in black felt tip pen as "Norman Mailer" on the limitation page. 21/300. 3. The Franklin Library Signed Limited Edition of Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr., "A Thousand Days: John F. Kennedy in the White House" (Franklin Center, Pennsylvania: The Franklin Library, 1979), 939pp. Signed by Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr. in black felt tip pen as "Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr." on one of the front loose endpapers. Expected surface wear to the gilt text block including scuffs and minor loss, else near fine. 4. Theodore C. Sorenson, limited first edition "Kennedy" (New York, Harper & Row Publishers, 1965), 783pp. Signed by Theodore C. Sorenson as " Theodore C. Sorenson" on the limitation page. 647/1,963. Contained in its original slip-on case. The case shows expected surface wear to the affixed label, as well as isolated minor loss to the edges and corners.
