Perlman, Previn, Rollins & "Nirvana Baby" Signed Album Covers, with 8 Vinyl Records Included!

A group of four musical albums signed by musicians, conductors, and cover art subjects Itzhak Perlman, André Previn, Sonny Rollins, and "The Nirvana Baby" Spencer Elden. The group includes four covers and cases, as well as eight original 11.75" vinyl records. Expected surface wear, else very good to near fine condition. Please see catalog photos for additional information relating to content and condition. The records are assumed to be in working order but have not been played. The largest item in the group is the André Previn signed 5-record set in a clamshell case measuring 12.675" x 12" x 1.25" overall.

The lot is comprised of:

- Itzhak Perlman (born 1945) and André Previn (1929-2019) co-signed album cover from their 1972 Mendelssohn and Bruck recording, Angel Records, S-36963, © 1973. The album cover was signed by Perlman and Previn in blue and red felt tip marker. For the concert recording, world-acclaimed concert violinist Perlman played Mendelssohn, Concerto in E Minor, and Bruch, Concerto No. 1 in G Minor, with André Previn conducting the London Symphony Orchestra. No vinyl record is included. In vibrant color. The cover measures 12.25" x 12.375."

- André Previn signed Franklin Mint Record Society Great Conductors Collection Limited Signed Edition of five vinyl records, ca. 1982, stored in a custom clamshell case. Previn has signed the half-title page as "André Previn." In this sampling, Previn conducts works by Mendelssohn, Holst, Rachmaninoff, Britten, and Vaughn Williams. Contains five double-sided vinyl records in record sleeves with isolated chips. Isolated foxing and a noticeable musty odor. The binding of the clamshell case is somewhat loose, else good to very good. The clamshell case measures 12.675" x 12" x 1.25" overall.

- Sonny Rollins (born 1930) album cover signed and inscribed "Best / Wishes / Sonny" on the front. Prestige Records, ca. 1975, two-record set of "Sonny Rollins, Saxophone Colossus and More." The cover contains two sleeves, each containing a double-sided 6-track vinyl record. Expected gentle surface wear to the cover.

- Spencer Elden "The Nirvana Baby" signed and inscribed Nirvana "Never Mind" album cover, Geffen Records, © 1991. The cover contains a double-sided 12-track vinyl record. An ACOA authentication sticker with corresponding serial number is discretely located on the reverse bottom corner. Near fine. The cover measures 12.25" x 12.375."

Applicable shipping and handling charges will be added to the invoice. We offer several shipping options, and remain one of the few auction houses who proudly provides professional in-house shipping as an option to our clients. All items will ship with signature required, and full insurance. Most items are sent via Federal Express, with P. O. Box addresses being sent through USPS. We insure through Berkley Asset Protection with rates of $.70 per $100 of value, among the lowest insurance rates in the industry. Our shipping department cameras document every package, both outgoing and incoming, for maximum security. In addition, we compare our shipping and handling rates against those of other auction houses, to ensure that our charges are among the lowest in the trade.

Upon winning your item(s), you will receive an invoice with our in-house shipping and handling fees included. ***We will ship to the address as it appears on your invoice. If any changes to the shipping address need to be made, you must inform us immediately.***

International shipments: In order to comply with our insurance provider, all international shipments will be sent via Fed Ex and customs paperwork will show a value of $1.00. International buyers should contact our office directly with any questions regarding this policy.
