8pp, dated March 25, 1965. An address by King delivered on March 25, 1965, during ceremonies at the conclusion of the Selma to Montgomery March. Reads in part: "…From Montgomery to Birmingham, from Birmingham to Selma, from Sela back to Montgomery, the trail wound in a circle long and often bloody, yet it has become a highway up from darkness. Alabama has tried to nurture and defend evil, but evil is choking to death in the dusty roads and streets of this state. So, I stand before you today with the conviction that segregation is on its death bed, and the only thing uncertain about it is how costly the segregationists will make the funeral…"

5pp, dated April 2, 1965. A statement by Martin Luther King, Jr., given at the SCLC Executive Board Meeting in Baltimore on April 2, 1965. Marked "FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE", the statement reads in part: "..Whereas the economic and religious leadership of other states have organized to quell the flow of blood and maintain a democratic society, the moderate and voices of reason in the State of Alabama have taken no such step to insure the maintenance of law and order. This leaves us with no alternative but to call on persons of moral conviction and good will throughout the nation, to refuse to support or cooperate with the state of Alabama in any economic endeavor, until such time as there is concerted effort on the part of the people, the political order and the business community to work together in the establishment of democracy, and in ending the reign of terror which presently grips the state…We are ever mindful of the tragic and shocking consequences of the silence and inaction of the good people of Germany and the world while their Jewish brethren were being massacred. Non-cooperation with evil is as much a moral responsibility as is cooperation with good…"

3pp, dated April 2, 1965. The resolutions adopted by the SCLC at the meeting on April 2.
