Jackie Kennedy Signed Engraving Framed With WH Photo, Ex-Sotheby's

A lovely presentation piece comprised of an engraving signed and dedicated by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy (1929-1994), and a photograph depicting Jackie with 35th U.S. President John F. Kennedy (1917-1963). The two items are matted and framed in an ebonized frame. Not examined out of the frame, which shows expected wear including nicks and isolated color loss. Else near fine. Auction stickers or sales tags from Sotheby's and Christie's can be found on the front glass or attached to the picture hanging wire verso. The overall frame size is 12.5" x 18" x .5."

At top is a glossy black and white photograph showing John and Jackie Kennedy standing on the south-facing Truman Porch of the White House, with panoramic views of the Washington Monument and Jefferson Memorial visible in the distance. The photograph was a formal portrait originally taken by White House photographer Abbie Rowe, ca. 1961. The sight size of the photograph is 7.25" x 6.125."

At bottom is an engraving of the old State, War, and Navy Building in Washington, D.C. It is signed and inscribed by Jackie Kennedy as, "To - Patrick Daly / With appreciation and best wishes / Jacqueline Kennedy." The sight size of the signed engraving is 7.25" x 5.625."

All items will ship with signature required, and full insurance. Most items are sent via Federal Express, with P. O. Box addresses being sent through USPS. We insure through Berkley Asset Protection with rates of $.70 per $100 of value, among the lowest insurance rates in the industry. Our shipping department cameras document every package, both outgoing and incoming, for maximum security. In addition, we compare our shipping and handling rates against those of other auction houses, to ensure that our charges are among the lowest in the trade.
