Huge "Band of Brothers" Easy Company Autograph Collection, 160+ Individual Signatures! Winters, Sobel, Sink & More
Archive

A remarkable autograph collection featuring the signatures of 167 individual members of E Company, 506th Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, made famous in the 2001 HBO miniseries "Band of Brothers". Consisting of 116 signed index cards and 51 first day covers over two separate albums. Of these pieces, there are no duplicate names found, with each item bearing a distinct signature. Highlighted subjects include Anthony McAuliffe, Robert Sink, Herbert Sobel, Dick Winters, Norman Dike, Ron Speirs, Albert Blithe, Lynn "Buck" Compton, and Robert Burr Smith, among others! Exhibits varying degrees of edge wear, bumped corners, and handling creases to some, else near fine. Truly a one of a kind collection!

Provenance note: This collection was originally assembled by Colonel Ted Crozier (1925-2017). A notable figure in his own right, he became the first aviator to serve as Chief of Staff of the 101st Airborne Division. In turn, approximately 8 out of the total 167 items feature personal inscriptions to him. The only autograph acquired after a change of ownership was that of Herbert Sobel, whose suicide attempt in 1970 rendered him permanently blind for the rest of his life. We are of the assumption, therefore, that this signature was produced around or before that date.
