Remarkable collection of 20 authenticated and slabbed autographs, each encapsulated by PSA/DNA or Beckett Authentication Services (BAS), representing an extraordinary array of baseball Hall of Famers, Negro league legends, and early 20th-century stars. The autographs are presented on various media, including cuts, index cards, and paper stock. Every signature is clearly visible and legibly penned in ink, with consistent preservation across the collection. Many signatures are boldly executed and in fine condition. Slabs exhibit some scratches, Waner slab sports a minor crack. The majority of the slabs measure 4.25" x 7.125," with the largest measuring 6.5" x 10".

Names include:

Leon Day:

Leon Day was a Hall of Fame pitcher in the Negro Leagues, known for his blazing fastball and versatility as both a pitcher and position player. He pitched a no-hitter on Opening Day in 1946 and was inducted into Cooperstown in 1995.

Al López:

Al López was a Hall of Fame catcher and manager, earning acclaim for guiding both the Cleveland Indians and Chicago White Sox to American League pennants. As a player, he was one of the most respected catchers of his generation, setting a record for games caught at the time of his retirement.

Bill Dickey:

Bill Dickey was a Hall of Fame catcher who played his entire career with the New York Yankees, helping lead the team to 8 World Series championships. He was known for his excellent defense and leadership, as well as a strong left-handed bat.

Pete Rose:

Pete Rose, MLB's all-time hit king with 4,256 hits, was a fiery competitor known as "Charlie Hustle." Despite his lifetime ban from baseball for gambling, Rose remains one of the most polarizing and celebrated players in baseball history.

Don Drysdale:

Don Drysdale, a Hall of Fame right-hander for the Los Angeles Dodgers, was one of the most intimidating pitchers of the 1960s and won the 1962 Cy Young Award. He was known for his fierce competitiveness and famously set a then-record scoreless innings streak in 1968.

Monty Stratton:

Monty Stratton was a promising White Sox pitcher whose MLB career was cut short after a hunting accident led to the amputation of his leg. His inspiring comeback and life story were later dramatized in the 1949 film The Stratton Story starring Jimmy Stewart.

Bobo Newsom:

Bobo Newsom was a colorful and well-traveled pitcher who won 211 games during a 20-year career with nine different MLB teams. Known for his rubber arm and larger-than-life personality, he was a four-time All-Star and one of the most durable pitchers of his era.

Jim Konstanty:

Jim Konstanty was a standout relief pitcher who won the 1950 National League MVP as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies' "Whiz Kids." He was one of the first true closers in MLB history and led the league in appearances multiple times.

Lloyd Waner:

Lloyd "Little Poison" Waner was a Hall of Fame outfielder who played most of his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates, known for his contact hitting and speed. Alongside his brother Paul Waner, he formed one of the most successful sibling duos in MLB history.

Wilcy Moore:

Wilcy Moore was a key pitcher for the New York Yankees during the late 1920s, notably winning 19 games in 1927 during one of the team's most dominant seasons. He was known for his sinker and played a crucial role in the Yankees' early dynasty.

Lil Stoner:

Lil Stoner was a right-handed pitcher in the 1920s and '30s, primarily with the Detroit Tigers. Known as much for his unique name and personality as his pitching, he had a serviceable MLB career with a 50–57 record.

Ernie Lombardi:

Ernie Lombardi was a Hall of Fame catcher known for his tremendous hitting, winning the National League batting title twice and the MVP in 1938. Despite his slow foot speed, he was one of the most feared hitters of his era.

Murry Dickson:

Murry Dickson pitched in the majors for 18 seasons, known for his durability and competitiveness, even while pitching for struggling teams. He won 172 career games and was a key pitcher for the Cardinals and Pirates.

Vern Stephens:

Vern Stephens was an eight-time All-Star shortstop and one of the top power-hitting infielders of the 1940s, especially with the St. Louis Browns and Boston Red Sox. He led the American League in RBIs three times and hit over 20 home runs in multiple seasons.

Larry Kopf:

Larry Kopf was a shortstop in the early 20th century, best known for his role in the only double no-hitter in MLB history in 1917, where he scored the winning run in the 10th inning. He played most of his career with the Cincinnati Reds.

Fred Parent:

Fred Parent was a solid defensive shortstop and member of the 1903 Boston Americans (now Red Sox) team that won the first modern World Series. He was known for his steady glove and early contributions to championship baseball.

Harlond Clift:

Harlond Clift was one of the best third basemen of the 1930s, playing primarily for the St. Louis Browns. He was known for his power and plate discipline, amassing over 170 home runs in his career.

Pete Fox:

Pete Fox was an outfielder with the Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox, winning the World Series in 1935. He was a consistent hitter and scored over 90 runs in five different seasons.

Paul "Daffy" Dean:

Paul Dean was the younger brother of Hall of Famer Dizzy Dean and teamed up with him to help the St. Louis Cardinals win the 1934 World Series. That year, the Dean brothers won all four of the team's victories in the Fall Classic.

Wally Post:

Wally Post was a powerful outfielder known for his time with the Cincinnati Reds during the 1950s. He hit over 200 home runs in his career and was a key part of Cincinnati's offense.

Unless otherwise indicated, we do our own in-house world-wide shipping!

Applicable shipping and handling charges will be added to the invoice. We offer several shipping options, and remain one of the few auction houses that proudly provides professional in-house shipping as an option to our clients. All items will ship with a signature required option, and full insurance. Most items are sent via Federal Express, with P. O. Box addresses being sent through USPS. We insure through Berkley Asset Protection with rates of $.70 per $100 of value, among the lowest insurance rates in the industry. Our shipping department cameras document every package, both outgoing and incoming, for maximum security. In addition, we compare our shipping and handling rates against those of other auction houses, to ensure that our charges are among the lowest in the trade.

Upon winning your item(s), you will receive an invoice with our in-house shipping and handling fees included. ***We will ship to the address as it appears on your invoice. If any changes to the shipping address need to be made, you must inform us immediately.***

International shipments: In order to comply with our insurance provider, all international shipments will be sent via Fed Ex and customs paperwork will show a value of $1.00. International buyers should contact our office directly with any questions regarding this policy.
