Description:

Group of 14 Kennedy Family Calendars, Ca. 2004-2011

A group of spiral-bound calendars distributed to the Kennedy family, featuring illustrations by Edward (Ted) Kennedy, Patricia Kennedy Lawford, and Caroline Reggie Raclin throughout. Totaling 14 pieces in all, the group consists of one or more calendars for the years 2003 [1], 2006 [2], 2008 [3], 2009 [5], 2010 [1], and 2011 [2]. The back cover of each has a printed inscription "Created with love/ by/ Vicki and Ted Kennedy", or just by "Vicki Kennedy" following his death in 2009. Like any family calendar, these feature the birthdays and anniversaries of numerous extended family members, including names from the Lawford, McKelvy, Schlossberg, Schwarzenegger, and Shriver clans. Finally, the last page of each is dedicated to "Days of Remembrance", honoring members such as John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Varying degrees of bending, minor toning, and folded corners to some, otherwise very good. A personal look into the lives of the Kennedy family!

Edward M. Kennedy (1932-2009), nicknamed "Ted", was the youngest brother of John and Robert F. Kennedy who served as Senator of Massachusetts between 1962 for nearly fifty years until his death. A member of the Democratic Party and unofficial spokesperson for American progressivism, he was the second most senior member of the Senate when he died. His wife, Victoria "Vicki" Reggie Kennedy (b. 1954) is a notable attorney and activist who was recently appointed U.S. Ambassador to Austria under the Biden administration in 2022. The two were married in 1992, with Vicki becoming a close political advisor to his campaigns and aid to the greater Kennedy family upon the death of JFK Jr. in 1999.
