A check signed "George Harrison" in blue ballpoint pen from the National Westminster Bank Limited. 1p, 8" x 3.5" (visible), London, England, May 24, 1972. Drawn from the account of Harrisongs Ltd. a sum of £31.80, made out in a separate hand to Ray Sargeant Ltd. With expected, faint cancellation stamp near Harrison's signature. Light diagonal creasing present along lower edge, not affecting text. The check has been tipped slightly out of the display, obscuring a portion of the date. Otherwise, a near fine example. Provenance: Accompanied by three documents signed by renowned Beatles authenticator Frank Caiazzo, all dated March 2, 2004, including a receipt of payment for which a previous owner paid $800 for the item. In another letter, Caiazzo appraises the same for a total of $1,400 based on the 2004 market price.

Together with a Letter of Authenticity from notable rock memorabilia expert and author Perry Cox, dated March 24, 2019.

Harrisongs Ltd. is a music publishing company founded in 1964 by English musician and songwriter George Harrison, then a member of the Beatles. By 1968, unsatisfied with the lack of recognition and royalties he was receiving from the band's primary music publisher Northern Songs, Harrison formally adopted Harrisongs for his music publishing. Indeed, Harrison's two songs "Here Comes the Sun" and "Something" written for Abbey Road (1969) became some of the most widely syndicated compositions from that album.

This item comes with a Certificate from John Reznikoff, a premier authenticator for both major 3rd party authentication services, PSA and JSA (James Spence Authentications), as well as numerous auction houses.
