Perhaps one will feel better in mountains. After that London if all goes well, Love G.G."

"Harriet Brown" was Garbo's most used alias. Mrs. Salka Viertel (1889-1978) was an actress and screenplay writer and Garbo's closest friend. They first met at a Christmas party in 1928. Salka worked on several screenplays for Garbo such as "Queen Christina" and, her last film, "Two-Faced Woman."

Sidney Guilaroff (1907-1997) was MGM's chief hairdresser from 1934 to the late 1970s. He was instrumental in crafting many of the hairstyles which became the signature looks for numerous film stars during Hollywood’s Golden Age. In his 1996 memoirs, "Crowning Glory: Reflections of Hollywood's Favorite Confidant," Guilaroff claimed he had an affair with Garbo.
