A collection of 5 items signed by NASA astronaut Fred Haise, plus an additional relic fragment of flown Apollo 13 Kapton foil. Ranging in size from 5" x 8" to 8.5" x 11", ca. 1970-2020. Exhibits varying degrees of age toning, light edge wear, and minor creasing throughout. Overall, very good with fantastic inscriptions! Please see below for additional information on contents.

The lot includes:

1.) Apollo 13 commemorative cover postmarked from Cape Canaveral on April 11, 1970 and again on April 11, 2020. Signed by Haise at top left corner: "Fred Haise/ Apollo 13 LMP". Together with a .375" piece of flown Kapton foil. 5" x 8" overall.

2.) Official NASA photograph depicting the Enterprise spacecraft, signed and inscribed at upper middle: "Enterprise on way to New Orleans Fair!/ Fred Haise/ Enterprise CDP/ Apollo 13 LMP". Featuring the backstamp of the John F. Kennedy Space Center on verso, with "This paper manufactured by Kodak" watermark present. 8" x 10".

3.) Official NASA release photograph depicting an Apollo 13 plaque to be attached to the Lunar Module Aquarius. Signed and inscribed along lower margin: "Still on Aquarius at entry!/ Fred Haise/ Apollo 13 LMP". Featuring the backstamp of the John F. Kennedy Space Center on verso. 8" x 10".

4.) NASA "red number" photograph depicting the Enterprise in flight. Signed and inscribed near upper left: "Getting set up to launch Enterprise on one of the ALT test flights!/ Fred Haise/ Enterprise CDR/ Apollo 13 LMP". Identification number S-77-21334 at top left margin, with "This paper manufactured by Kodak" watermark verso. 8" x 10".

5.) Collage print depicting various images related to the career of Fred Haise, signed at lower middle in black felt tip pen: "On our way to the Moon!/ Fred Haise/ Apollo 13 LMP". 8.5" x 11"

6.) Apollo 13 flown Kapton insulation that was affixed to the Command Module "Odyssey". Fragments measuring approximately .5" x .6125" and .75" x .375". Accompanied by an additional 8.5" x 11" sheet of provenance.

This item comes with a Certificate from John Reznikoff, a premier authenticator for both major 3rd party authentication services, PSA and JSA (James Spence Authentications), as well as numerous auction houses.

Unless otherwise indicated, we do our own in-house world-wide shipping!

Applicable shipping and handling charges will be added to the invoice. We offer several shipping options, and remain one of the few auction houses that proudly provides professional in-house shipping as an option to our clients. All items will ship with a signature required option, and full insurance. Most items are sent via Federal Express, with P. O. Box addresses being sent through USPS. We insure through Berkley Asset Protection with rates of $.70 per $100 of value, among the lowest insurance rates in the industry. Our shipping department cameras document every package, both outgoing and incoming, for maximum security. In addition, we compare our shipping and handling rates against those of other auction houses, to ensure that our charges are among the lowest in the trade.

Upon winning your item(s), you will receive an invoice with our in-house shipping and handling fees included. ***We will ship to the address as it appears on your invoice. If any changes to the shipping address need to be made, you must inform us immediately.***

International shipments: In order to comply with our insurance provider, all international shipments will be sent via Fed Ex and customs paperwork will show a value of $1.00. International buyers should contact our office directly with any questions regarding this policy.

Third-Party Shipping Option: If a third-party shipper is preferred, the buyer is responsible for contacting them directly to make shipping arrangements. For your convenience, we have provided some recommended shippers. For your protection, we will require a signed release from you, confirming your authorization for us to release your lots to your specified third-party. At that point, our responsibility and insurance coverage for your item(s) ceases. Items picked up by third-party shippers are required to pay Connecticut sales tax. Items requiring third-party shipping due to being oversized, fragile or bulky will be denoted in the item description.
