Roosevelt", to the front fly leaf, and to the back of the book as  "50 copies printed for me, January 1925, No. 16, Franklin Roosevelt".

Two of the pamphlet booklets focus on Roosevelt's original acquisition of the "Minutes", inclusive of a  typed letter by Victor Paltsits explaining the nature of the set as "The Manuscript volume was bought at auction at Henkels of Phila., in May 1923, by Hon. Franklin D. Roosevelt, of Hyde Park, N.Y. …" The title page of the booklet notes that it comes from the original manuscript in possession of Franklin Roosevelt. While a separate booklet titled "The Franklin D. The hardback titled "Minutes of The Council of Appointment of New York, April 4, 1778-May 3, 1779", maintains two inscriptions by Roosevelt, one to the front fly leaf of "Victor H. Paltsits Esq, from his friend, Franklin D. Roosevelt", and one to the last blank page of "50 copies printed for me, January 1925, No. 16, Franklin Roosevelt".  Tipped into the back of the book is the original mailing envelope, and a typed carbon of a letter from Victor Paltsits thanking Roosevelt. The Introduction notes that during the period covered by the minutes on the following pages, George Clinton was president of the Council.

The fourth volume is a hardback hardback titled "Minutes of the Committee and the First Commission For Detecting and Defeating Conspiracies in the State of New York December 11, 1776 - September 23, 1778, and Minutes of the Council of Appointment April 2, 1778-May 3, 1779", printed by the New York Historical Society, with an example of a quote from the minutes shown below:

".. I have received undoubted Intelligence that two Companies of Men purpose setting out this Evening with an Intent to join the Enemy. They will be assembled about Day Light to-morrow Morning, or rather before it at a certain house in the Highlands … where a party will be ready to intercept them if possible … "
