Extensive Signed Judaica Lot, 15+ pcs- Ben-Gurion, Meir, Eban, & Others!

A group of 15 signed envelopes, some stamped with first day of issue, from notable Israeli political figures, as well as one signed check from first Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion. The majority of covers are adorned with stamps relating to the State of Israel. Please see below and accompanying photos for additional information on contents. Varying degrees of creasing and soiling throughout. Overall, good condition- a diverse collection of political signatures!

Highlights include:

1.) David Ben-Gurion signed check, dated May 8, 1973. Stamped by Israel's Ministry of Defense Finance Department and signed "D. Ben-Gurion" on verso.

2.) (2) Golda Meir signed envelopes, one ca. 1975 and the other stamped with first day of issue on July 4, 1976. Meir was the fourth Prime Minister of Israel and became the first woman to serve as head of government.

3.) (2) Chaim Herzog signed envelopes, one ca. 1975 and the other stamped with first day of issue on June 17, 1975. Herzog served as sixth President of Israel between 1983-1993 and is the father of Isaac Herzog, incumbent President.

4.) (3) Abba Eban signed envelopes, one undated and two stamped with first days of issue on May 29, 1964 and May 14, 1974. Eban was an Israeli diplomat and politician who would go on to serve as Foreign Affairs Minister, Education Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister of Israel.

5.) (3) Ariel Sharon signed envelopes, all undated. Sharan served as eleventh Prime Minister of Israel between 2001 and 2006.

6.) (3) Yitzhak Shamir signed envelopes, all undated. Shamir was the seventh Prime Minister of Israel who went on to serve two terms, once between 1983 and 1984, and again between 1986 and 1992.

Unless otherwise indicated, we do our own in-house worldwide shipping!

Applicable shipping and handling charges will be added to the invoice. We offer several shipping options, and remain one of the few auction houses who proudly provides professional in-house shipping as an option to our clients. All items will ship with signature required, and full insurance. Most items are sent via Federal Express, with P. O. Box addresses being sent through USPS. We insure through Berkley Asset Protection with rates of $.70 per $100 of value, among the lowest insurance rates in the industry. Our shipping department cameras document every package, both outgoing and incoming, for maximum security. In addition, we compare our shipping and handling rates against those of other auction houses, to ensure that our charges are among the lowest in the trade.

Upon winning your item(s), you will receive an invoice with our in-house shipping and handling fees included. ***We will ship to the address as it appears on your invoice. If any changes to the shipping address need to be made, you must inform us immediately.***

International shipments: In order to comply with our insurance provider, all international shipments will be sent via Fed Ex and customs paperwork will show a value of $1.00. International buyers should contact our office directly with any questions regarding this policy.

Third Party Shipping Option: If a third party shipper is preferred, the buyer is responsible for contacting them directly to make shipping arrangements. For your convenience, we have provided some recommended shippers.
