Archive, measuring between 4.3125" x 3.5" and 8" x 10", Various dates, Various places. An extensive collection of autographs from notable musicians including jazz icon Herbie Hancock, Liberace, among others! Archive comprises of signed photos and cards, totaling 18 pieces in all. Minor degrees of toning and wear throughout, with bold signatures to all. Please refer to photos for further condition information. The lot includes:

1. Placido Domingo signed color photo, 8" x 9.75", n.d., n.p. Domingo (1941-) is a successful Grammy award-winning opera singer and conductor, with several of his recorded albums going multi-platinum.

2. (2) David Brubeck signed B&W photos, both 8" x 10", n.d., Long Beach, NY. Brubeck (1920-2012) was an American jazz pianist who is most noted as being one of the great proponents of the cool jazz genre.

3. Celia Cruz signed B&W postcard, 3.25" x 5.25", n.d., n.p. Cuban-American singer Celia Cruz (1925-2003) is noted as being one of the most popular Latin artists of the 20th century, becoming known as the "Queen of Salsa".

4. (2) Stan Getz signed index cards- 2.25" x 5" and 3.3125" x 5.5", n.d., n.p. Getz (1927-1991) was a Grammy award-winning saxophonist, coming into prominence in the late 1940s.

5. (2) Benny Goodman TLS/accompanying envelope & (1) signed card- measuring between 2.5" x 2.6125" and 6" x 8", February 26, 1953 and Ca. 1978, New York, NY. Dubbed the "King of Swing", American clarinetist Benny Goodman (1909-1986) led one of the most popular swing bands between 1936 until the mid-1940s.

6. Luciano Pavarotti signed color photo, PSA authenticated- 7.9" x 9.75", n.d., n.p. Italian opera singer Luciano Pavarotti (1935-2007) remains one of the most notable operatic tenors of the 20th century, reaching a global audience throughout the course of his career.

7. Lionel Hampton signed program- 5.5" x 8.5", March 6, 1990, Wise, VA. Hampton (1908-2002) was an American jazz musician most known as a popular vibraphonist and bandleader.

8. Herbie Hancock signed color photo- 8" x 10", n.d., n.p. Noted as one of the most influential jazz musicians of the latter half of the 20th century, the compositions of Herbie Hancock (1940-) has merged genres and set precedents for jazz standards.

9. Arturo Sandoval signed color photo- 8" x 10", n.d., n.p. Sandoval (1949-) is a notable Cuban-American jazz trumpeter, who has notably performed at the White House and the 1995 Super Bowl.

10. Zubin Mehta signed B&W photo- 8" x 10", n.d., n.p. Conductor Zubin Mehta (1936-) has served as the director of orchestras around the world, including the Israel Philharmonic, Montreal Symphony Orchestra, and New York Philharmonic.

11. Liberace (1) B&W photo & (1) signed card- 3" x 5" and 4.125" x 5.8125", n.d., n.p. Piano prodigy Liberace (1919-1987) was noted for his signature stage presence and during the height of his fame was one of the highest paying entertainers in the world.

12. Tex Beneke signed index card- 3" x 5", n.d., n.p. Beneke (1914-2000) was a notable American saxophonist and bandleader, who's act was often associated with fellow jazz musician Glenn Miller.

Unless otherwise indicated, we do our own in-house worldwide shipping!

Applicable shipping and handling charges will be added to the invoice. We offer several shipping options, and remain one of the few auction houses who proudly provides professional in-house shipping as an option to our clients. All items will ship with signature required, and full insurance. Most items are sent via Federal Express, with P. O. Box addresses being sent through USPS. We insure through Berkley Asset Protection with rates of $.70 per $100 of value, among the lowest insurance rates in the industry. Our shipping department cameras document every package, both outgoing and incoming, for maximum security. In addition, we compare our shipping and handling rates against those of other auction houses, to ensure that our charges are among the lowest in the trade.

Upon winning your item(s), you will receive an invoice with our in-house shipping and handling fees included. ***We will ship to the address as it appears on your invoice. If any changes to the shipping address need to be made, you must inform us immediately.***

International shipments: In order to comply with our insurance provider, all international shipments will be sent via Fed Ex and customs paperwork will show a value of $1.00. International buyers should contact our office directly with any questions regarding this policy.

Third Party Shipping Option: If a third party shipper is preferred, the buyer is responsible for contacting them directly to make shipping arrangements. For your convenience, we have provided some recommended shippers.
