Emanuel Hertz on Abraham Lincoln, Fifteen Pamphlets in Many Languages!
Archive
This archive of fifteen pamphlets by Jewish attorney and Lincoln scholar Emanuel Hertz includes copies of his address, "Abraham Lincoln—The Seer" in five different languages. First delivered over the radio on February 12, 1924, Hertz's speech insisted that Lincoln's "providential appearance at that time and in that place has but one parallel in recorded history.... his earthly existence falls into almost the identical mould which held the life and the work of Moses, the old lawgiver...."

Other pamphlets elaborate on this theme in additional radio addresses, an address delivered to the Washington Heights Congregation in February 1925, and a few articles in periodicals that were reprinted in pamphlet form.
