Eight CSA Loan Bonds Issued During the Civil War & Ft. Slave Imagery

A fantastic group of eight scarce Confederate loan bonds, all war-dated and issued by the Confederate States of America. Ranging between $100-10,000. With retained tickets. The bonds have flattened folds and minor toning. Varying degrees of light soiling and foxing. Small holes and separations in places. Please refer to the photographs for further condition information. The following are included in the group:

1. Confederate States of America $100 Loan Bond - No. 12270. Richmond, Virginia; dated March 2, 1863. Retains nine$4.00 tickets and one $3.50 ticket. Signed by C.A. Rose as Register of Treasury. Featuring an image of Alexander Stevens.
2. Confederate States of America $500 Loan Bond - No. 25. Richmond, Virginia; dated July 1, 1864. Retains nineteen $20.00 tickets. Signed by C.A. Rose as Register of Treasury. Featuring an image of a soldier with bales of cotton.
3. Confederate States of America $1000 Loan Bond - No. 3551. Richmond, Virginia; dated March 2, 1863. Retains seven $25.00 tickets. Signed by C.A. Rose as Register of Treasury. Featuring an image of Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson.
4. Blank 6% Confederate States of America Loan Bond. Richmond, Virginia; ca. 1860s. Featuring an image of a slave working in a field.
5. Blank 6% $100 Confederate States of America Loan Bond. Richmond, Virginia; ca. 1860s. Featuring an image of a farmer or slave leaning against a wooden turnstile fence.
6. Blank 4% 10,000 Confederate States of America Loan Bond. Richmond, Virginia; ca. 1860s.
7. Confederate States of America $500 Loan Bond - No. 8848. Richmond, Virginia; dated March 2, 1863. Retains ten$17.50 ticket. Signed by C.A. Rose as Register of Treasury. Featuring an image of a soldier by a campfire.
8. Fifty-Nine $30 tickets for the Confederate States of America $1000 Loan Bond - No. 4136. Richmond, n.d.

Applicable shipping and handling charges will be added to the invoice. We offer several shipping options, and remain one of the few auction houses who proudly provides professional in-house shipping as an option to our clients. All items will ship with signature required, and full insurance. Most items are sent via Federal Express, with P. O. Box addresses being sent through USPS. We insure through Berkley Asset Protection with rates of $.70 per $100 of value, among the lowest insurance rates in the industry. Our shipping department cameras document every package, both outgoing and incoming, for maximum security. In addition, we compare our shipping and handling rates against those of other auction houses, to ensure that our charges are among the lowest in the trade.

Upon winning your item(s), you will receive an invoice with our in-house shipping and handling fees included. ***We will ship to the address as it appears on your invoice. If any changes to the shipping address need to be made, you must inform us immediately.***

International shipments: In order to comply with our insurance provider, all international shipments will be sent via Fed Ex and customs paperwork will show a value of $1.00. International buyers should contact our office directly with any questions regarding this policy.

Third Party Shipping Option: If a third party shipper is preferred, the buyer is responsible for contacting them directly to make shipping arrangements. For your convenience, we have provided some recommended shippers.
