Description:

Rock 'n Roll

4" x 6" black and white photo of rock star Edgar Winter on glossy Kodak photo paper signed "Edgar Winter" in black sharpie marker at top center.  In very good to near fine condition. A few light superficial marks scattered throughout, including two running through the "er" of "Winter". Accompanied by a copy of JSA Letter of Authenticity from group lot.

Edgar Winter (born 1946) is a cross-over genre singer, guitarist, saxophonist, keyboardist, and percussionist.  He formed the four-member Edgar Winter Group in 1972, producing the 1973 Top 20 hit "Free Ride".

Besides his musical virtuosity, Winter is striking because of his physical appearance. Winter was born an albino.

This black and white photograph both accentuates and minimizes his albinism; accentuates, as the dark backdrop sharply contrasts with Winter's long white bangs, beard, and locks; and minimizes, as his light-colored hair could be viewed at first glance as platinum blonde.

A signed photo of Edgar Winter, as unapologetic and feisty as his music!
