- A color print titled "Apollo Soyuz Test Project" in both English and Cyrillic letters, 1p, 10" x 8", no place, no date. With eleven signatures: Alan L. Bean (1932-2018); Karol J. Bobko (1937-2023); Vance Brand (b. 1931); Ronald Evans (1933-1990); Alexei Leonov (1934-2019); Jack R. Lousma (b. 1936); Valery Kubasov (1935-2014); Robert F. Overmyer (1936-1996); Georgy Shonin (1935-1997); Donald "Deke" Slayton (1924-1993); and Thomas P. Stafford (1930-2024). NASA mission information printed at verso. Light creasing and minor soiling. In near fine condition.

The Apollo Soyuz Test Project was the first international human spaceflight. On July 15, 1975, an Apollo spacecraft launched carrying a crew of three American astronauts and docked two days later on July 17, with a Soyuz spacecraft and its crew of two Russian cosmonauts. Designed to test the compatibility of rendezvous and docking systems and the possibility of an international space rescue, the mixed crew conducted several scientific experiments together. The extremely successful mission would set the stage for future collaboration, including today's International Space Station.

- A color photograph titled "Space Shuttle Columbia Lifts Off Into Space", 1p, 8" x 10", no place, no date. Boldly signed in thick black felt tip: "Jack Lousma Cdr STS-3". NASA mission information printed at verso. In fine condition.

- A color portrait photograph of American astronaut Donald K. Slayton, signed by him as "Deke Slayton", 1p, 8" x 10", no place, no date. A 10-cent U.S. Apollo Soyuz stamp with First Day of Issue cancellation and a Kennedy Space Center July 15, 1975 postmark is located at the left; and a 10-cent U.S. United Nations' "Peaceful Uses of Outer Space" stamp with First Day of Issue cancellation and a United Nations March 14, 1975 postmark is located at the right. Blank verso. Shallow closed tear at upper right edge. Light corner creases. Minor streakiness to Slayton's signature. In near fine condition.

- An Apollo 13 mission group portrait photograph of its prime crew members, Commander Jim A. Lovell, Jr. (b. 1928), Command Module Pilot John L. Swigert, Jr. (1931-1982), and Lunar Module Pilot Fred W. Haise, Jr. (b. 1933) signed and inscribed by Haise in black felt tip as "Fred Haise / Apollo 13 LMP" near the bottom. In brilliant glossy color, 10" x 8". NASA mission information printed at verso. A few gentle surface wrinkles, scuffs, and slightly blunted corners. Two pinholes along the top edge. In near fine condition.

- An excised half-title page signed on the adhered bookplate sticker by Apollo 13 Commander Jim A. Lovell, Jr. as "James Lovell", from the book he co-authored entitled, "Lost Moon: The Perilous Voyage of Apollo 13" (Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1994). The Apollo 13 mission insignia is printed verso. The half-title page is trimmed to an overall size of 5.375" x 8.875." Some light wrinkling. In near fine condition.

- A group of four NASA photographs signed, "James A. Van Allen", along their white borders. In brilliant glossy color with extensive printed information verso. Measuring 8.5" x 11" (3) and 8" x 10" (1). Expected light surface wear. Minor wrinkling. Overall, in near fine condition. Please review images for further details on content and condition.

James A. Van Allen (1914-2006) was an influential American space scientist, heavily involved in rocket and satellite research and development in the 1940s and 1950s. Over the course of his lifetime, he was able to participate in, and later observe, many exciting scientific advancements in space exploration. Among the many honors received throughout his lifetime, Van Allen was presented with NASA's Lifetime Achievement Award in 1994.

- A vintage black and white postcard photograph, ca. 1975, of Soviet cosmonaut Anatoly Filipchenko (b. 1928), signed by him in Cyrillic letters at upper left. 3.625" x 5.75". The bilingual postcard is captioned verso: "Colonel Anatoly Vasilyevich Filipchenko, commander of Crew Two for the Soyuz spaceship. Pilot-Cosmonaut of the USSR, Twice Hero of the Soviet Union". Otherwise blank verso. In near fine condition.

- A vintage black and white postcard photograph, ca. 1975, of Soviet cosmonaut Valery Kubasov (1928-2014), signed by him in Cyrillic letters at lower right. 3.625" x 5.75". The bilingual postcard is captioned verso: "Valery Nikolayevich Kubasov, flight engineer of Crew One for the Soyuz spaceship. Pilot-Cosmonaut of the USSR, Hero of the Soviet Union". Otherwise blank verso. In near fine condition.

- A textured, black and white, matte-finish photograph of Soviet Cosmonaut Gherman Titov (1935-2000), signed, dated, and inscribed by him in Cyrillic letters at upper left, on a postcard measuring 3.75" x 5.75". Expected light handling wear. In near fine condition.

Unless otherwise indicated, we do our own in-house world-wide shipping!

Applicable shipping and handling charges will be added to the invoice. We offer several shipping options, and remain one of the few auction houses that proudly provides professional in-house shipping as an option to our clients. All items will ship with a signature required option, and full insurance. Most items are sent via Federal Express, with P. O. Box addresses being sent through USPS. We insure through Berkley Asset Protection with rates of $.70 per $100 of value, among the lowest insurance rates in the industry. Our shipping department cameras document every package, both outgoing and incoming, for maximum security. In addition, we compare our shipping and handling rates against those of other auction houses, to ensure that our charges are among the lowest in the trade.

Upon winning your item(s), you will receive an invoice with our in-house shipping and handling fees included. ***We will ship to the address as it appears on your invoice. If any changes to the shipping address need to be made, you must inform us immediately.***

International shipments: In order to comply with our insurance provider, all international shipments will be sent via Fed Ex and customs paperwork will show a value of $1.00. International buyers should contact our office directly with any questions regarding this policy.
