- John O. Bronson, Autograph Document Signed, Certification, October 14, 1862, Washington, D.C. 1 p., 7" x 4.5".
"I hereby certify that Capt. Edwin Clark of the 121st Regt. New York Vols is under medical treatment in this city. He is sick with Remittent Fever."
Edwin Clark (1825-1886) was born in New York and was admitted to the bar in 1859. After practicing law for three years, he enlisted as a captain in Company G of the 121st New York Volunteer Infantry. He resigned in February 1863, due to ill health and was incapacitated for several years. He lived for one year in Williamsburg, Virginia, then moved in 1867 to Jefferson City, Missouri, where he was appointed Assistant Superintendent of Schools, a position he held until 1872. He then moved to Wisconsin, where he again practiced law and lived for the rest of his life.

- A. E. Mather, Partially Printed Document Signed, Roster of Absent Enlisted Men, March 31, 1863, Camp near White Oak Church, Virginia. 1 p., 8.125" x 6".
Accounts for 11 enlisted men, including 2 "detailed as nurses in hospital at Burkettsville, Md," 1 "in convalescent camp at Alexandria," 1 "in Mt Pleasant Hospital Washington," 2 "in Seminary Hospital Hagerstown Md.," 1 "sick in Hospital at Burkettsville," and 2 "sick in Finley Hospital Washington."
Andrew Emmett Mather (1837-1913) was born in New York and enlisted as a first lieutenant in Company K of the 121st New York Volunteer Infantry, rising to the rank of major in that regiment before being discharged in January 1864. He then served as a lieutenant colonel of the 20th U.S. Colored Troops from February 1864. He was severely wounded at Salem's Church on May 3, 1863, a few weeks after signing this report.

- Redford Sharpe, Manuscript Document Signed, Order, January 18, 1865, Parks Station, Virginia. 1 p., 8" x 9.25".
Order reassigns Hospital Steward Thomas Bently of 1st Division Hospital to the surgeon of the 121st New York Volunteer Infantry, "for duty with his Regiment."

- Theodore McGowan, Partially Printed Document Signed, Special Orders No. 50, March 9, 1864, Washington, D.C. 1 p., 7.75" x 10".
"The charge of desertion is hereby removed from the following named enlisted men in the Hospitals of the District of Columbia, satisfactory evidence having been produced that they are not deserters.
"Private George H. Borst, Co. ‘G' 121st N. Y. Vols. Harewood Hospital."
George H. Borst (1837-1907) was born in New York and was a farmer. He enlisted in Company G of the 121st New York Volunteer Infantry. In November 1862, he was rendered unfit for duty due to a severe cold. When the regiment was camped at White Oak Church, Virginia, he was sent to the regimental hospital with a lung disease and was in the hospital until the end of December. He returned to the regiment, was twice wounded in 1863, and was sent to the general hospital in November 1863, from which he was discharged.

Applicable shipping and handling charges will be added to the invoice. All items will ship with a signature required option, and full insurance. Most items are sent via Federal Express, with P. O. Box addresses being sent through USPS. We insure through Berkley Asset Protection with rates of $.70 per $100 of value, among the lowest insurance rates in the industry. Our shipping department cameras document every package, both outgoing and incoming, for maximum security. In addition, we compare our shipping and handling rates against those of other auction houses, to ensure that our charges are among the lowest in the trade.

Upon winning your item(s), you will receive an invoice with our in-house shipping and handling fees included. ***We will ship to the address as it appears on your invoice. If any changes to the shipping address need to be made, you must inform us immediately.***

International shipments: In order to comply with our insurance provider, all international shipments will be sent via Fed Ex and customs paperwork will show a value of $1.00. International buyers should contact our office directly with any questions regarding this policy.

Third-Party Shipping Option: If a third-party shipper is preferred, the buyer is responsible for contacting them directly to make shipping arrangements. For your convenience, we have provided some recommended shippers. For your protection, we will require a signed release from you, confirming your authorization for us to release your lots to your specified third-party. At that point, our responsibility and insurance coverage for your item(s) ceases. Items picked up by third-party shippers are required to pay Connecticut sales tax. Items requiring third-party shipping due to being oversized, fragile or bulky will be denoted in the item description.
