A holographic PSA/DNA sticker, number AO66804, is discretely positioned at lower right. A pin hole is located just off-center at top left. Expected handling wear including a few isolated minor wrinkles. Else near fine. 14" x 11." Also accompanied by a Polaroid picture showing Aldrin at a signing event with an unidentified autograph collector holding the display.

Apollo 11 Commander Neil Armstrong (1930-2012), Command Module Pilot Michael Collins (1930-2021), and Apollo 11 Lunar Module Pilot Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, Jr. crewed the Apollo 11 mission to space from July 16-July 24, 1969. Armstrong and Aldrin were the first humans to step onto the moon's gray and granular surface on July 20, 1969. While on the moon, the astronauts took photographs, placed a TV camera, collected geological samples, set up seismic and laser experiments, and even received a celebratory phone call from President Nixon. They planted an American flag on the surface, and also left behind the original plaque (the facsimile pictured at upper left of the display); it was slightly smaller, made of stainless steel, and attached to the ladder of the lunar module landing gear strut.
