7 Congressional Publications Re: George Custer, Little Big Horn & Indian Wars

A group of seven publications relating to the United States Congress and the Indian Wars, dating from 1865-1877. Of varying sizes, the bound publications cover topics including expeditions and battles against various Native American tribes, military promotions, and several mentions of General George Custer. Varying degrees of wear, soiling, toning, etc. Please refer to the photographs for further condition information.

The group includes the following:
1. Military Expedition Against the Sioux Indians, July 15, 1876. Bound, 63 pp. Important first Government Report of the Events at Little Big Horn, MT, and the events surrounding George A. Custer.
2. General Orders No. 71: Promotions and Appointments to the Army of the United States, made by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, and by the President alone, August 31, 1866. Bound, 349 pp, no cover. (Mentions Custer).
3. General Orders No. 92: War Department, the Designation and Organization of Regiments, November 23, 1866. Bound, 29 pp, no cover. (Mentions Custer).
4. General Orders No. 3: List of Commissioned Officers of several Regiments of the Army, War Department, January 16, 1871. Bound, 22 pp, with an index, no cover. (Mentions Custer).
5. Letter of the Secretary of Interior, Communicating Information in relation to the Tabequache band of Utah Indians, and the treaty of the 2d of March, 1868, with the Utah Indians. June 26, 1868. Bound, 4 pp.
6. Applicable shipping and handling charges will be added to the invoice. We offer several shipping options, and remain one of the few auction houses who proudly provides professional in-house shipping as an option to our clients. All items will ship with signature required, and full insurance. Most items are sent via Federal Express, with P. O. Box addresses being sent through USPS. We insure through Berkley Asset Protection with rates of $.70 per $100 of value, among the lowest insurance rates in the industry. Our shipping department cameras document every package, both outgoing and incoming, for maximum security. In addition, we compare our shipping and handling rates against those of other auction houses, to ensure that our charges are among the lowest in the trade.

Upon winning your item(s), you will receive an invoice with our in-house shipping and handling fees included. ***We will ship to the address as it appears on your invoice. If any changes to the shipping address need to be made, you must inform us immediately.***

International shipments: In order to comply with our insurance provider, all international shipments will be sent via Fed Ex and customs paperwork will show a value of $1.00. International buyers should contact our office directly with any questions regarding this policy.
