6 Incredible Space-Flown Relics from the Apollo & Discovery Programs as well as Space Shuttle, with Signed Astronaut Scholarship Foundation COAs

A collection of six unique space-flown relics donated by Russell L. Schweikart, Fred W. Haise, Edgar Mitchell, Charlie Duke, Don Williams, and Robert "Hoot" Gibson, from the 2009 and 2010 Astronaut Scholarship Foundation Space Artifact Series. The limited edition relics, which range from fragments of fabric, foil, paper, tile, and tire, date from the Apollo and Discovery Programs as well as the era of the Space Shuttle, ca. 1969-1989. Each relic is suspended in a slanted Lucite mount with a colorful space program logo visible at bottom. Expected surface wear including a few scattered scuffs. The Apollo 16 mount has a tiny chip along the top edge, else near fine. Approximate size 3.375" high x 2.625" diameter. Each relic is accompanied by an Astronaut Scholarship Foundation Certificate of Authenticity signed by the respective astronaut/donor. (Individual scans of each Letter of Authenticity is available upon request.)

Any one of these relics regularly sell at auction for between $100-400 a piece at the low end, and for between $300-1,000 at the high end. These relics are consistently desirable in today's market.

The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation was established in 1984 by nine individuals, including a cadre of Mercury 7 space mission astronauts like John Glenn, Walter Schirra, and Alan Shepard. The Foundation is a non-profit organization tasked with distributing 50 scholarships every year to deserving college students pursuing STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) career paths. Since its inception, the ASF has disbursed $5 million in scholarships to over 600 undergraduates from 44 universities. Each relic, autograph, photo, or collectible offered in the foundation's website store comes from the personal collection of the astronaut who donated it expressly for the purpose of generating scholarship funds.
