1780 George III Money Grant Including Funds for Revolutionary War

15pp, measuring 7.5" x 11.5", England, dated Ca. 1780. Taken from a larger volume, chapter 62 and paginated 907-931. Entitled, "An Act for granting to his Majesty a certain Sum of Money out of the Sinking Fund; and for applying certain Monies therein mentioned for the Service of the Year One thousand seven hundred and eighty; and for further appropriating the supplies granted in this Session of Parliament." Parliament promised to issue a sum not exceeding £1,849,542, to be put towards numerous listed services, loans, and debts. Includes money to be put towards the late war in America. With a horizontal centerfold. Loose binding, with some pages having become separated. Edge toning with light foxing and soiling throughout. Very good.

Highlights include:

- A sum not exceeding £14, 405. 18s. 6d being the Amount of several Sums arising from Stoppages for Provisions for Artillery in America.

- £48,300 reserved by the Paymaster General of his Majesty's Forces, be applied to defraying the extraordinary Expenses of His Majesty's Land Forces between January 31, 1779, and February 1, 1780.

- £48,801. 10s. 6d for Provisions for foreign troops serving in America.

- £57, 910. 12s for Relief of American Civil Officers and others who have suffered on account of their attachment to His Majesty's Government.
