Archive
A collection of 10 booklets related to the life, political career, and assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. All measuring between a twelvemo and octavo [5.25" x 7.75" - 5.75" x 8.75"], various, printed ca. 1860-1865. The booklets cover Lincoln's early life, his famed political debates with Stephen Douglas, his 1863 Thanksgiving Proclamation, the 1864 election, and his assassination by John Wilkes Booth. It appears that most, if not all, have been disbound from larger volumes. Varied degrees of light toning, soiling, and wear. All soundly bound. Overall, very good.
