The Gentleman's Magazine (London: Sylvanus Urban, Printed by D. Henry and R. Cave at John's Gate, July 1756), 8vo, 5.25" x 8.25", pp. [317-364]. With 1 engraved folding map, 14.5 "x 9", entitled "A Plan of Fort St. Philip and Its Environs, with the French Encampments, Batteries &c." Partly disbound, binding remnants and stitch holes at left margin, minor corner and other creasing, 2 inch tear affecting folding map, pages clean overall.

Issue includes a good deal of news of the Seven Years War, better known in North America as the French and Indian War, includes the text of the Articles of Capitulation of the Island of Manorica offered to the French. Other articles include a translation of the French King's ordinance concerning English vessels detained in the Port of France.
