(1)Signature “Babe Ruth” in pencil on verso of an original 2.5” x 1.75” black & white 1940s photograph of an unidentified dressed-up four-year-old boy standing in his driveway. Photocopy of the photograph is included. Minor flaws. “Ba” signed on the photograph identification number stamped on verso when it was developed. Minor flaws. Dark penciled signature. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA and Spence.
(2) Approximately six strands of Babe Ruth's hair. Accompanied by impeccable provenance of ownership from Babe Ruth to Claire Ruth (Mrs. Babe Ruth) to Barry Halper to the Robert Edward Auction to University Archives.
Double matted in blue and white together with an impressive 7" x 10.5" black and white photograph of a pensive Babe Ruth in his Yankee pinstripes, leaning on his baseball bat with his right hand, in the dugout of Yankee Stadium, "The House That Ruth Built." Framed under glass to an overall size of 19.75" x 16".
