1949 National League Champion Brooklyn Dodgers signed ball including Robinson and Campanella.
Official National League Ford Frick Baseball signed by Hall of Famers Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Duke Snider, and Pee Wee Reese, and Gil Hodges, Billy Cox, Don Newcombe (rookie), Gene Hermanski, Carl Furillo, Preacher Roe, Johnny Jorgensen, Bruce Edwards, Mike McCormick, Ed Miksis, Tom Brown, Dick Whitman, Johnny Hopp, Joe Hatten, Rex Barney, Jack Banta, Ervin Palica, Paul Minner, Morrie Martin, manager Burt Shotten on the sweet spot, bullpen catcher Sam Narron, coach Milt Stock, and two others. Also signed by Dodgers pitcher Elmer Sexauer who had pitched two-thirds of an inning on September 6, 1948, and walked two batters on September 12, 1948; that was his entire major league career. He most probably was visiting the team when this ball was signed. The signatures of Snider and three others appear to have had minor restoration. Fairly even shellacking, the custom of the time, preserves the major signatures. Pre-certified by JSA.
